Giclée Printing for iPad Art

Home  /  iPad Art

Creating art using applications on touchscreen devices such as Apple's iPad is becoming increasingly popular with artists for sketching, drawing and painting. There are a wide range of applications available including Procreate, Adobe Photoshop Touch, Brushes (used by David Hockney), Sketchbook Pro, Tayasui Sketches and ArtRage.

From a printing perspective the most important thing is to create, save and export your work in high resolution to preserve pixel density and thus image quality, giving you the option to create high quality prints in whatever size you wish.

We print on only the finest inkjet papers from the Hahnemühle Digital FineArt Collection with archival pigment inks using the latest 12-ink giclée printing technology. Founded in 1584, Hahnemühle are Germany's oldest papermakers manufacturing papers for traditional and digital artists.

See the papers page for an at-a-glance comparison of all our 10 papers by finish, material, weight, colour and texture.
